Ease of Adoption

Adopting native.cloud does not have to mean extra work. Think of it like the 12 Factor App principles: guidance, not bureaucracy. You can adopt it gradually, selectively, and in ways that fit your existing workflow.

When designing a new service or resource, consult the keys that apply. No process change required: just a better starting point. Using standard names upfront eliminates future migration debt.

You do not need to label or annotate every resource on day one:

  1. Start with high-value domains: Storage retention (storage.native.cloud/retentionDuration) and tenancy boundaries (tenancy.native.cloud/tier) often yield immediate operational value.
  2. Apply to new infrastructure first: Enforce standard keys on newly provisioned clusters and services before backporting to legacy workloads.
  3. Automate in templates: Bake native.cloud keys into your Helm charts, Terraform modules, and CI/CD pipelines so teams adopt them effortlessly.

We are building tools to accelerate discovery and simplify integration with your development workflows.

Interactive Questionnaire CLI In Development

Section titled “Interactive Questionnaire CLI ”

A lightweight command-line tool designed to guide platform teams through the ontology and pinpoint the keys that provide the greatest immediate benefit.

  • Guided Questions Mode: Step through structured decision prompts about your infrastructure stack, multi-tenancy model, and compliance goals.
  • Conversational AI Mode: Describe your platform requirements in natural language and receive tailored key recommendations with example manifests.

AI Agent Skills & Harness Integration In Development

Section titled “AI Agent Skills & Harness Integration ”

For teams using modern AI coding agents (Claude Code, Antigravity, Copilot), dedicated skills provide turnkey ontology support:

  • Requirements & Discovery Skill: Analyzes architecture docs, Helm charts, or Kubernetes manifests and suggests appropriate native.cloud keys.
  • Ontology Context & Rules Skill: Provides LLMs with real-time access to key schemas, allowed values, validation constraints, and syntax rules directly within your coding session.
